Re: Touch Pro Battery life!!! Post your reviews!!

I know it's not a great solution, but can anyone with bad battery life try forcing it to 1x mode for the day and see if that makes a difference?

I don't know if you can do that on the TP, but there's probably a way.

Just suggesting that because I have a Motorola Q right now and when I disable EvDO, it probably increases battery life by 50%.

This will be especially helpful to any of you in relatively low signal areas for most of the day.

Re: Touch Pro Battery life!!! Post your reviews!!

Has anyone tried using the Motorola RAZR charger with the Touch Pro?

Moto RAZR Charger:
Input: 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz, 0.15A
Output: 5.0V ... 550mA

HTC Charger:
Input: 100-240V - 0.2A 50-60Hz
Output: 5V ... 1A LPS

I have a bunch of those laying around and my battery just drains because I am constantly browsing the internet, playing games, or texting.

Thanks

Re: Touch Pro Battery life!!! Post your reviews!!

Welcome to the latest round of smartphones on WM6.1! Go look at treocentral's forums under the 800w section, we all have the same exact issues and even a smaller battery.

... I'm still swapping my 800w out because I like the TP's screen (size and resolution) better.

Heat Issue Revisited

I reported that I'd had severe heat issues with my Diamond and then again with my new TP. Both had overheated to the point of discoloration. My first 2 TPs came from BB. I returned both for the discoloration problem. I've had another TP from Sprint retail store - NO discoloration, still some heat but significantly less.

So I am not sure if there is a correlation or not but for now I've got a TP I can use. And I love this device for lots of reasons.

Re: Touch Pro Battery life!!! Post your reviews!!

Seidio has always made great extended life batteries. The current battery is 1340mAh and I'm hoping to see one around 1500- 1700mAh w/o having to change the battery case. Don't want to make the phone any fatter than it already is. There site says somewhere at the end of November.. Can't come soon enough for me.

Re: Touch Pro Battery life!!! Post your reviews!!

I find it odd that it only takes a couple hours to fully charge my battery from about 10%.
