for real?

ok

I didn't buy one, even though they are available at BB in Merced. I never want to be a first day buyer of an unknown, and given the issues on the GSM version at XDS, I felt it was prudent to wait. At least with my Mogul, I know the issues and how to deal with them.

I do hope solutions present themselves for most issues, but what many percieve as negativity, I see as reality, and a counterweight to the unabashed cheerleading that has went on here since before the device was out. All of this pattern happened with the Mogul too, but then when reality set in, it became a piece of crap to many. I've seen this little kiddie cheerleading of new un-released and just-released devices too many times, and ofter by the wrong type of person to answer in threads such as this, which was, after all, about BUSINESS use, not playing kiddie games, youtube, etc., etc.

I understand

I wanted the poker app for the Mogul too. Research either here or at PDAPhoneHome. It's a plus for the TP if it worked, but even if it did, it wouldn't forgive a business use that didn't work.

you don't say

There is something called a "multi Q" button. Click it for each post that you want to reply too and on the final one click quote. Reply in to each quote in one post. This would be of no use to you is your reason is increasing your post count though.:angry7:

Have you had any luck remapping the Home and left arrow buttons using AE Button Plus?

With the exception of the home button, AEButton works great for me!

The left arrow is the "OK key", and the center of the dpad is the Enter/Action. The rest are self explanatory.

As for all the posts complaining about the lack of hw buttons, that's absolutely ridiclulous. Forget about the fact that this information's been floting around for 6 months. Who the heck would buy a phone without even looking at it, or at least playing with a display model. And after that you decide that the TP is not for you, well then it's not for you and there's no reason to bash on it.

I am a business owner/user and could not be happier with the device. It allows me to keep organized/connected, and I am now free from having to lug a laptop everytime I'm gonna be away from the office...

Re: What do you use your TP for?

I use mine for text messaging, all of my e-mail accounts, surfing the web away from home, GPS, and I use LiveSearch a LOT to find out movie times, gas prices, where to find certain businesses, and to get directions. It's also become a secondary camera for me (my first phone to ever have this option even considered). I will also probably be replacing my iPod with this as well when I get an 8GB micro SD card, but that's all going to depend on the battery life of this bad boy.

So...it's pretty much a toy now. I used my Mogul and Touch a lot for business use when I was in Florida, but my job here in MI doesn't really require me to be able to read my e-mails away from work, which is nice. I COULD do it, but I'd rather not, lol.
