Reposting from the other thread I made:

Using the touch circular pad like an iPod, you can zoom in and out of webpages, and increase and decrease the size of the displayed text in messages/emails/etc.

Some new ones:

Do NOT enable Cleartype in Landscape (via reg edit or Tweaking program). It does not seem to be supported fully yet, and will cause issues such as lines of text bunched together or replaced with a "-".

Download Gyrator 2.
LINK: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=427805
Recommended Settings under Menu>Options>Events>Rotate>Edit Event: Leave only Portrait and Reverse Landscape checked. Click Apply.
Instead of the default of rotating every direction it is turned with Gyrator 2 installed, this will allow it to only rotate between the normal portrait and the landscape that is displayed when they keyboard is open.

1. Edit the following regestry entries. Hard part is finding a registry editor, but they are out there:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing]
Extension="" Delete the "isext.dll" entry

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing\settings]
ForceCellConnection="Sprint"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing]
MaxCMCon=0

2. Start the Internet Sharing application.
3. Hit Connect In the Internet Sharing application.
4. Connect the Diamond to the Laptop/PC via USB
5. Done. No other applications needs to run on the PC/Laptop.

I had to create this entry "[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing]
MaxCMCon=0"
Did others have to do this??? - my internet sharing is working- that's how I am posting this!

Nice functions with that hack, but I'm very timid about installing on my TP again. It seems my last TP didn't take to it very well. Or maybe it was coinsodence. I need a solid "YES it works fine on the TP with out any side effects". Also if there are any changes that need to be made to the REG for it to work correctly. Don't want to be doing anymore hard resets.

Re: Tips and tricks

The tweak tool your quoted post linked to prolly screwed you up. These regedits for IS only affect the IS app, nothing is changed regarding anything else on the pro, so there is no reason this would require a hard reset, unless you ****ed something up royally when you were regediting.

found new feature, at least for me. CTRL+C and CTRL+V work for copying and pasting

Let's not forget Ctrl+X to cut and Ctrl+A to select all. Pretty much all the standard CTRL+ functions in Windows work on here. Try THAT on an iPhone! ;)

Ha, I was wondering what was the purpose of the CTRL button, because it didnt seem to work for copy and paste for me. I searched and just realized I had to hold it down the same time with CTRL+C and not press one then the other. I guess it would be cool if I could make it sticky keys though, just press CTRL then C to copy.

I also realized that text selection works (which I missed from my Centro).

Text Selection:
Ctrl+Shift+ arror keys to select back, forward, up or down text.
