The Exclude it referred to using the HTC Task Manager - setting opera and mail as "Excluded" by tap-holding each in turn and selecting exclude from within task manager will prevent it from closing them when you tap the X, so they're always loaded in the background ready to go. There's plenty of memory on the TP, no need to close EVERYTHING...

I have Sprint. This is horrendous.

The Touch Pro lasted 4 hours 9 minutes on a continuous-talk-time test, which is a mediocre result. It does, however, best Sprint's 3 hours 8 minutes, but lags behind the AT&T Fuze's 5 hours 31 minutes.

you shoulda bought a Sprint TP & put in on Verizon instead of leaving VZ.

I wanted to leave Verizon for not only their Touch Pro but because they don't offer alot of the things that Sprint does, such as Sprint Tv, Sprint Music Store and Unlocked GPS, and to be honest I don't wanna be with a company that restricts thier customer to save them some money :-)

I can see your point I guess although Sprint TV is fairly useless & nobody uses the music store (Slingbox is the way to go for TV) & it's simple enough to unlock the GPS.

I agree that I don't use that stuff on a daily basis but its nice to have, I was considering the route you took but I was scared to have an expensive phone with no warrenty or insurance
