Running fast and smooth here.
I think the battery drain issues got fixed in the last update or two.
Still testing.

Re: Post Your Touch Pro Today Screens

bezel? what bezel? :)

Looking good bro.
I really like that one.
Have you tried adding a slight transparency inside the bezel? Or maybe a glossy look inside?
That I think might really set it off. :)

Re: Post Your Touch Pro Today Screens

Are you talking about inside the actual clock area? To make it look like a glass panel is over the digital numbers?

rootlinux 02-05-2010 02:26 PM

Re: Post Your Touch Pro Today Screens

Yes and the other smaller bezels.

Wil Badger 02-05-2010 03:22 PM

Re: Post Your Touch Pro Today Screens

Ya if I were to do it I would just make it a layer behind the bezels.

Yeah. Should not be hard to do but it would look great.

Re: Post Your Touch Pro Today Screens

It has proved to be more of a pain then I thought. Ya it's easy enough to put in but not so easy to get a nice glass look across the whole area. They all have the same amount of highlight since they are all produced off the same file. It's hard to see in the smaller boxes and can just be seen in the large box. It really comes down to the back ground image being used. More tweaking and I'm sure I'll get it just right.

Plus now I'm going to have to pull the actual number files and start playing with them.

Will,
I am most impressed with your work especially this today screen, this is the cleanest setup I have seen. if you wouldn't mind I have some questions.

Is there instructions on how to do these mods? I have been out of the loop for awhile (last flash was 7-29-09) and all this looks a little overwhelming.

Do you maybe cab up your work?

Do you happen to know if these mods work on NRG'S ROMS?

any other advice you think is worthy.

Thanks!

Re: Post Your Touch Pro Today Screens

I'm currently using the newest Energy Rom Leo 23518 build with Sense 2.5 and Max Manila Mod 2.5-2.7 beta not 2.7se which just came out and still has some bugs from what I could tell. Though I'm sure I will be moving over to that in a bit. As for my work it is around for VGA phones. My work is mostly things like tab icons, invisible flip clocks, notification icons,etc... as seen above with the clock bezel.

You can do a search for my threads and you will find my mods.

Those clocks look hot Wil!

Anyone ever get the Opera menu problem in my screen shot? I've tried to search, but I'm not pulling up any relevant results. I could go through my kitchen and remove things one by one, but I'm just a little lazy today. I don't check Opera menus everytime I flash a new ROM so I'm not exactly sure when it happened and why.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks as you know it's always something....Heheheh

As for that Opera problem thats a new one. I have never seen that before. I'm going to take it you have tried a clean install of it. Or possible a different version to see if it has the problem as well.

Re: Post Your Touch Pro Today Screens

I see NRG has started using the 2.5 landscape beta.
How is it working?

I have been playing with it in my kitchen but it is not stable enough for me to release it yet.
It is not a complete port so I will hold off until I feel it is ready.

Anyway... Looks good Wil. :)

Wil Badger 02-07-2010 03:45 PM

Re: Post Your Touch Pro Today Screens

I haven't really played with it. I have spent the last couple of hours just trying to get Max's 2.7se and the ROM to play nice with each other. I have finally got them running and now it is time to see what it has.

Wil Badger 02-07-2010 04:10 PM

Re: Post Your Touch Pro Today Screens

It would seem the version I downed of NRG is from 07 and it does not have landscape. I'm downing the 06 version which is the beta version with landscape.

At the moment, after a month of fenzied flashing (must have been 7 or 8 ROMS) Ive gone back to 6.1 with mobile shell. Not a fan of digital clocks AT ALL so dont use it on my homescreen.
