If you look through the themes files on the phone you'll find the black backgrounds, just replace them with what you want, but use the original filenames of course.

you should try the new customizing cab i started a thread on, you can change everything on the screen, colors for buttons,date on top,tons of clocks ect. search my name then tgreads started by me or goto thems forum. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=75703 went and got it for you.lol

Changed my background again, I think thats the only thing I like to do to my today screen. I like keeping it simple yet nice looking, and clean :)
Background is on all tabs, i like that ^^

Something like nasa1303's today screen would fit me nice:)
