i dont think you will have to swtich your plan.. its was the same for the dimaond if you have the diamond already on sero then your fine... and its also if you want that $100 rebate you have to have one of those plans listed.

well i'm glad that they at least acknowledged us, and told us what was going on. I still don't get how Best Buy got an exclusive for the phone. Or why they won't take orders on Sunday. Since the phones will just be sitting there, but oh well.

The mail in rebate said SERO customers were excluded from the plan requirements.

So i guess us SERO ppl will be paying 100bux extra for the phone?? that sux, then again i only pay 37/mo after taxes (no insurance) so maybe its a fair trade. But dayum $399 up from $299 means ill need the extra time time to save up a few more bux

yea i just got him today but i don't have a phone to use if i return it so i think im gonna wait till the last day of my exchange... i had a super note my account and give me an extension but you never know... so im playing it safe...

Yes that is what i meant at least have it in hand . It will cut the shipping time down . If you wait to order you would have to wait 3-5 business days to receive the kit , and then 3-5 business days to send and receive your other phone. that could amount to 2 weeks.

Ok, I been out of the loop for awhile but been trying to keep up with this release because I want this phone. And I'm under the old $30 sero plan and I want to keep it.



My contract with sprint still has another year. What are my options for upgrading to this phone?

Hey who are you guys talking to at sprint Ive tried customer service and retentions the only clear english speaking person I got was a gentleman named Will in retentions that was about a month ago he was a great help with my plan and is a member of this site however I have not been lucky enough to reach someone fluent enough to give me any info on the pro maybe you members here can tell me who I need to call..thanks for any help.

So let me get this straight. The phone runs $300 w/2yr contract and $100 mail in rebate. Being a SERO customer it would run me $400.

That's pricey.

Word is they can handle sero, they just have to call to do the upgrade/extension instead of doing it on the computer.

nope they don't even have to call... they use snap and snap has the ablity to access all accounts now! instead of fast.

let me get this straight... I can go to Best Buy next week, get the Touch Pro for $299 with the 2 year ext... and keep my old Sero $30 plan... and nothing will get screwed?

I could have sworn they couldn't use SNAP for SERO. Oh well, the quicker the better.

But you shouldn't get your plan screwed up. Also, just go with your dad just to make sure, but supposedly they will let you do it if you have the account pin.

We tried to go to a corporate store to switch it to my name before I moved, but since I had a SERO account.. they couldn't do it.

All the Sprint Stores I come across know nothing, when asked about the Pro.

I am a SERO subscriber. I just bought the phone at Best Buy for $299 then I used the reward zone discount and ended up paying $230. W00t.

SNAP didnt work with my account. They had to call spring and give my pin to complete the purchase.

What if we orderd from the EVP site and received the great savings from them? Are we safe from the additional increased price along with the increase in the monthly plan? Damn, I have only payed $20 dmy employee plan for a long time now. I will NOT be geting it if I need o increase my monthly plan.

I'm $30 sero but not out until Feb 2010, and way too much of a geek to hold onto my mogul for that long.

But yeah, they needed account PIN to call in to do my SERO upgrade, and they also needed ID from the account holder.
