To be honest you could pull it off, there is really no difference, you may need to do side spacers for the board due to smaller board but nothing major.

You created a thread specifically for the telus information a few pages back, and no one is clogging that up with Sprint info. If you want to speak about being on topic, this thread was originally created to discuss the delay with the phone being released on Sprint. Given the fact that Telus has yet to announce a release date, information about there release most definately does not belong in a thread dedicated to the delay and issues causing it, future release, etc. I am not trying to flame, just saying if you want to stick to the letter of the original thread, your posts are the ones that are off topic..... food for thought

Thanks for everything critical, now I have things to consider.. take Touch Pro or hold on to hope for a Touch HD (or the possible eternal wait for the next big thing)

If we see a Touch HD on Sprint it is going to be at best probably 6 months down the road. Get the Touch Pro now, and the sell it on ebay when the HD comes out. The wait will be a lot easier with the new piece of kit to pass the time! The longest I have ever kept a phone is the mogul, which is 10 months now, just because something better hasn't come along. The most I have ever payed to get into a new phone was 100 bucks, just by keeping it in good shape and then buying and selling on ebay!

One more question for you crit, you mentioned a while back you were going to be starting on some new other test products for HTC, any chance there is any sign of Tegra phones in the near future?

Unfortunately you are right, might as well get the Pro anyway, I've already waited long enough for it.

I have an odd question... Does the Sprint Touch Pro have a metal frame like advertised for the GSM phones? I wish the chrome rings on the outside were real metal too...

critical, if the touch hd does come to cdma do you think that htc & its engineers would take a look at beefing the battery up to a minimum of atleast 1500mah? i know it cuts costs to use the ones they already have but i'm sure its possible to do without altering the phone too much.

btw thanks for all of the info you've been providing us these past few weeks. very interesting stuff!
