Well I went to some training on the Diamond and the Pro yesterday and one of the reps had a PRO, I only got to play with it for a few seconds as he asked for it back once the room found out he had one.

He said that he an uber beta version as all the "kinks" had not been worked out yet. I would say it really isn't that much bigger than the Diamond. I do like the 5 row keyboard though.

Lucky for the attendees we all got a free Pro coming to us, though they did not say exactly when we will be receiving one, all they said was in the next couple of weeks we should be receiving one.

As for the business card reader if it's only software, I can't see why it can't be extracted from the Pro and possibly put on the Diamond. The reps there emphasized that the Diamond and Pro are identical in hardware except for the internal 4gig vs. micro sd and the flash for the camera.

One last thing that were saying was that the Pro would be coming with the A/V cables also. Now I know before it has been stated that it would not but I guess we won't really know until it's released.

Does this thread/forum cover Verizon as well?

Anyone have any information as to when Verizon customers might see the Touch Pro?

Camera update will assist on the Business Card reader portion due to the update repaired lag issues and clarity.

Verizon is in current discussion over the PRO the reason being is due to verizon may or may not cripple the pro

One last question, I don't believe it was stated before, but will there be any improvements with the position sensor, i.e. going from portrait to landscape, vice versa. While playing with the Diamond it seems to lag frequently.

I am in the same situation.. I went to the Pro launch here in ATL, we were supposed to get a pro, but got a touch instead as they didnt have them in yet. I have a pro coming from my rep..just havent gotten it yet. He hopes to be able to get it to me next week...

Yes there was a update for that, this was due to issues with TF3D .
