Has anybody besides me noticed that the slide-out keyboard on the touch pro has no soft keys? lol

The main reason the Mogul has soft keys on the slide out keyboard and front is because the screen is "sunken". It makes it hard to press the onscreen button the way the screen is on our Mogul's. With the Touch Pro, the screen comes to the edge and is flush. There is no longer a need for soft keys when the screen is easy to get to now.

oooh it took me thinking about it for awhile to figure out you mean the hard keys for the soft key buttons. right? those were useful but only because the non-flush edge of the screen imo.

edit: guess I'm too slow typing on my touch, phatboy said basically the same thing.

Also they had to make room for the number row as well. Don't forget about that. 6 Rows would be overkill!

I just realized that I have never ever used the soft keys on the mogul's keyboard, not one single time.

Me neither... they were just too small. In the time it took me to press one of the keys, I could have tapped the screen with less accuracy.

i used them on the 6700. never had a mogul.

i will miss those and the windows key on the touch pro.
