I'm trying to remember if there was any product (os, software, apps) that was never delayed by micro$oft. Such lazy a$$e$.

Considering they never gave a firm release date, how can it be "delayed"?

If they would have said, ok, folks, Oct 1, 2008, then, sure, complain all you want. But I've been working with MS for years (not for) and they only give "estimated" dates, and rarely commit to a specific date with any of their applications.

thank you and nowhere in there does it say its even delayed or going to take longer. they said its supposed to come out before the end of 2008 though.

Windows ME was a stop gap for the follow on systems to Win 98. They were delayed in releasing Win2K so Windows ME came out.

Windows ME was the biggest pile ever.
