I think most people DO realize this. That's why so many of us are on SERO plans and try to go for cheap replacements. :D

Thats a good question. I want to say its been over a year. I think I got it a few weeks after its release. I upgraded a Moto Q for the mogul.

did you mean to say that Verizon Wireless has a superior network? Or did you mean to say Alltel?

From what I can see here http://www.jdpower.com/corporate/new...spx?ID=2008142 it looks like Sprint has a "superior" network in one region of the whole US- of course this area is shared with Verizon. (do the math and its 8 1/3% of the US you can claim Sprint has superiority in. Verizon with 58 1/3% and Alltel with 25%. After their merger, this becomes Verizon/Alltel with 83 1/3%. I'd say that is more superior than 8 1/3%.) Other than sharing this southwest area, Sprint just falls to the ranks of ATT in this study.

Im really just busting your balls because I am very jealous that Sprint knows how to treat their customers. On Alltel with my 6800, the most my screwed up keyboard and on-screen white spot can get me is a refurbished phone. And (at least from my experiences) there is no way of swapping my 6800 for any other phone, even a 6900.

I would not pass up these discounts Sprint is offering. Why hold on to a phone that has a buggy keyboard, when that is one of the main reasons of owning it over the touch or diamond...

I think people should just wait till the phone comes out and then contact Sprint for deals or whatever.

Why wait? I'm glad I got it out of the way. Now I can walk into the store in the morning on Oct 19th and grab my Touch Pro.

Probably best bet would be to go through telesales. Stores get lagged a lot of the times.

I'm going to walk in the store when they open, and if they don't have it, I'll just order it online.

Question:

What if I were to purchase the Blackberry Curve for 199.99, then return it for an exchange within 30 days. The Curve retails for 569.99 and the Touch Pro retails for 579.99. Would this be a good plan?
