with the devices being released so close together, you know we will share alot of the same parts.

i know we can only wait to see for sure, but what do you think. is there a chance we could luck out with a better device or are we screwed with a life time of hacks, custom roms, reg edits, and what not just to make it work.

Thanks, cody
I have the Diamond and have yet to have any real issues with it.

Battery life is much better now after a week of use.
Has never froze on me yet...
Bluetooth. I dont think its any better or worse than my mogul ever was. I use it mainly for Music to the Car Stereo and Its crystal clear..
Overheating. Yes it gets warm but never caused an issue. Most chips now a days can run at extremely high temps. I rework boards such as these and we subject them to heat well above anything one should ever Experience with the phone. I also do a lot of prototyping and subject devices pretty much to the limits of the weakest component on the board.. Most LCDs can go to approx 70c before crapping out...
AS for Speaker Volume I personally think its much better than the Mogul.
last Wifi Turning on by itself. Not once has this happened...

I am running a stock sprint rom with a few Regedits and thats about all. Much more reliable than the Mogul or touch... I will personally say that If the Pro is atleast the same or better in reliability I will be more than impressed.

I stand corrected. I read this from http://pdabreak.com/2008/htc-touch-pro-review/ so I'm not talking out of my ***

I thought the CDMA pro had the front-facing camera dropped?

I'm hoping the touch pro don't have many out the box *fingers crossed* but I'm sure updated roms and stuff will have this phone beastly after a couple of months after its released
