WiFiWMRouter - Touch Pro specific problem?

The latest version installs just fine on my TP. However, when i try to connect, it immediately tells me that it cannot connect because my battery is too hot.

Never have I had this problem and nothing is working. Tried both on device and storage card, but to no avail.

I didn't find anything on the forums OR their website about this.

Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks.

It told me that too and then offered to disable the "feature" that checked for battery temp. I did so, and the application has been working just fine. In fact, I just bought the full version yesterday.

Re: WiFiWMRouter - Touch Pro specific problem?

ihave tried several versions. I still cant get it to work right. If I have wifi access around it tells me it's connected to that instead of the phones data connection.

Note to the developer:Just because there is wifi around that I might even be authenticated on, I might not want to use it !
I did however get it to be recognized by my laptop, although when I saved that connection, the dhcp address was never sent to my laptop.
I'm on vista ultimate, but this should still work with that.
I'll stick to tethering.

Is it set for dynamic wireless config, where it saves your current config and resets all the wifi settings when you connect? I have had zero problems doing this, even when I'm otherwise authenticated to a network.

Re: WiFiWMRouter - Touch Pro specific problem?

I have had issues with .89, .91, and I just tried 1.20 and all the same results. When I look for the wireless network it sees it and I hit connect, and it connects for a sec or two and then disconnects. Not even enough time to open a internet window. I have a MSI wind U100. To correct the issue, I downloaded the driver from the website for the wlan card and used the manufacturers utility and not the windows one and now it works fine. I'm using it right now.

Same issue on the Diamond, I wouldn't worry about it, it gives the message all the time, even when you just start the phone and it's ice cold.

just turn off the notification
