htc touch pro release date question??

At wikipedia, it says that the HTC Touch Pro will be released in "August 2008". : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTC_Touch_Pro

But at this thread that people seem to be believing, it says that it will be September 2nd. : http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...560#post369560

Which source is correct?

1) Wikipedia is not a source.

2) We don't know for sure. Either way, most sources put its release within a month or two.

I do understand that it is not the hardest thing in the world to change Wikipedia, but 98% of the time, it is damn resourceful! But issues arise when dealing with topics that have fanboys. i.e. PS3, Wii, Xbox 360

Can U buy the touch pro in wikipedia this august? If not, It's not reliable for the release. I take nothing away from wiki. It's a great place for resources but they have nothing to do with carriers release date. WiKi don't know better than us concerning release dates.

touch pro is the raphael right? it won't be released before the diamond... the diamond is a for sure sept 2nd.

my friend who manages a sprint store told me the pro will come a month later

There's ur answer. Wiki just did not specify which version will be released on august 2008.
