hey guys, last week radio shack had the mogul listed at 99 bucks with contract, and now they don't have it on their list, and now walmart has theirs at 99 bucks. seems like they are trying to eliminate stock for some reason doesn't it?

Sprint still has it at $299 with 2 yr contract. What gives?

when I talked to a sprint rep late july, she said 3rd party contracters are going to get it first eg: walmart, radio shack, bestbuy. so thats probably why, sprint will still be carying the mogul for an extra month or so.

Strange..I know when I checked yesterday (sprint site), the mogul wasn't there completely. Maybe they are just clearing their stock and their inventory and web site aren't synched up very well.

radio shack etc.. almost always try to clear their stock before it hits end of life as the have to buy their inventory outright (would make decent stocking stuffers for employees.) Sprint on the other hand already owns its inventory and is benefited by having it there to use as replacements for insurance claims so they have no reason to hurry.

I was told from a "very reliable" source that the mogul will no longer be avail. for ordering sometime in September.

Hmmm...so that may mean that I'll be able to buy my phone before Sprint's official release, just like I did the Mogul! It was so awesome too because I went to a local Sprint store the day after I received it to ask for accessories and the CSR looked at me and said, "How the heck did you get this phone?"...:mrgreen:

I'm actually hoping it won't be released until October because it's better justification for a "b'day" gift to myself...LOL.
