Converting a Sprint HTC Touch Pro to AT&T?

My daughter recently lost (had stolen) her iPhone 4 that she was using on AT&T. Noone I knew had a spare AT&T phone, but a friend of mind had a really nice HTC Touch Pro phone (from Sprint) he was no longer using. So, the question on the table is this: Can I get this Sprint HTC Touch Pro phone to work on the AT&T netowrk and, if so, how? I've read lots of threads about unlocking and downloading new ROMS, but none of these seem to address whether or not I can get this phone to work with AT&T. Any help would be GREATLLY appreciated!

This ^^. TP1 on Sprint is CDMA only... so no to AT&T.
