Freezing on Incoming Call
I've looked everywhere and can't find an answer to this. It seems like every time I have a data connection and someone calls me the phone freezes. I slide to answer and it just continues to ring and doesn't answer the call. I'm running Energy ROM standard. It did this on other ROM's I've used as well. I'm not too sure what to do, because I keep missing phone calls and feel like a dumb*** when I have to immediately call said incoming caller right back. It's a CDMA Sprint Touch Pro flashed to CricKet.

Re: Freezing on Incoming Call
If you are using a program to automatically disconnect you data after a certain time that is the cause of the problem. The phone hangs when you get an incoming call because it is trying to turn data off before it answers.

Re: Freezing on Incoming Call
I'm not using S2U2 or a program to automatically disconnect. It may be my network because CricKet is a bunch of haters. I'll check out that link.

Try this cab a made by modifying Juggalo's cab to give the proper #777 entry and change cachetime to 60. |

Re: Freezing on Incoming Call
I have an HTC Imagio and a GSM line. It's configured to GSM only and I'm running the latest EnergyROM. I was experiencing this issue where I can't answer incoming calls.
I read up on the solution you linked but it didn't work for me. In fact, EnergyROM already comes with the #777 entry. I changed the CacheTime entry from 600 to 60 and used advanced config to set a 10 min disconnect. This changed my SuspendResume entry to "GPRS_bye_if_device_off" which, coupled with the 60 cachetime seems to have solved the issue. |
