Need Help Alltel HTC Touch Pro MMS
 

I have been reading different forums all day and I have yet to find one that will make my MMS work. I have an Alltel HTC Touch Pro that I unlocked and flashed with Mighty Rom 6. I downloaded a version of Arcsoft but it is still not sending or receiving. My two issues are:

A picture message will show that it is trying to download, I will get a pop up and it will say 0% then disappear. It will never download

I tried to send a picture message and first the file size is below 400K and it will never send. Just give me the same popup at 0% and go away.

I have been reading everything I can and still no luck. I have read all the different forum posts. Could someone really try to help me??? I am about to give up. Thanks!

there are 4 steps to complete, they are in folders labeled 1 thru 4, do them in order and soft reset afterwords. this works for nrg roms and should work for mighty as well

under MESSAGES/MENU/PIC/VIDEO OPTIONS/SERVERS/ what is listed? also, is it grayed out or can you click on it and make changes?

the package i linked to will provision for alltel and the server settings that you are asking about will end up being correct. much easier IMO than manually entering them.
I agree though that this is most likely the problem.

Well i have been messing around with different cabs all day now. I have tried different Arcsoft programs and I can receive now but the pictures are tiny. I will try what frizzlefry suggested. At first, after mightyrom was installed it would not let me attach a picture or anything.

I think was I used was, remove picturemail and arcsoft, arcsoft alltel mms 5.0.69blahblahblah, dcd carrier cab

Something like that because I always called it "RAD" fix and i have to run those 3 after each rom flash.

I dont have them hosted but i can email them or whatever

Yea can you email them to me. I think I got lost because I was missing an important part or something. I love Mighty Rom, but I want to be able to send an mms. I will PM you my email address

aahh. cool. what i had you do is what Graham was going to send you. same thing. now if you continue to have small pics there is another fix you can try

Glad you got it worked out! There's nothing more frustrating than having a phone that won't do something as simple as MMS.
