Upgrade DMU keys manually..HELP
 

I am very frusterated and need help. I have an Alltel HTC touch pro on Page Plus and I am trying to get Data working.

I can do everything except change the DMU.

If I do *228 it loads all the alltel stuff back in!!

I cannot connect to QPST or BitPim to save my life (yes I am in DIAG mode)

Is there any way to get my DMU on the phone, or what am I doing wrong with QPST and BitPim, I can find the right com port but it doesn't recognize the phone.

I would be willing to pay someone to answer my question....

Also I found that some versions of QPST would not recognize my TP. Your best bet is to find the most recent release. I no longer have QPST as my AV program deleted it as infected :( (so becareful with your downloads).

You need to install an HTC modem driver in order for QPST to read your phone. See this link for an attached driver. I installed this driver, added the relevant port in QPST Config and copied the key using the "EFS Explorer" utility.
Internet works but I am only getting 1X speed, not EvDO.
