Radio issue
 

I've got a Sprint TP with the 1.12.34F radio in it. I've had this phone since the December of the year it was launched, and have had no issues -- up until last week.

More often than not, I find my phone giving me the "Dialed #777" dialog when I'm out and about. This can usually be fixed by calling the tower ( *18 ) or opening a web page in IE (and only in IE). Recently though, those haven't done anything. The only way to get data again has been to soft reset my phone. It got so bad the other day, that my phone actually refused to place a call to the tower, even though I had most of my signal strength.

Another thing I've noticed is that my signal strength icon will momentarily blink on and off a couple of times at random intervals. By this, I mean the entire icon will dissapear and leave a blank space.

Today I went ahead and flashed back to stock to no avail. I've not yet run Task29 on this phone, but I'm certainly open to suggestions before I do.

i say run the task29, i did last night and sofar my phone has been very good today and no problems as of now since last light. or you might wanna try a hard reset that might do the trick. im also running the same radio on a sprint tp but im with cricket.

+1 for task29. It sounds kinda scary from the thread, but I did it yesterday, and it really fixed the phone. Its a sticky thread in the cdma upgrades section. There is even a section where it lists the task29 with the radio. Thats what I used.
