Got data working, but.......
after about 3 weeks of trying to get data working without success, i did a ##786# to reset my phone's configuration. SUCCESS!!!! was finally able to get profile/prl to update and connect to data. but when i checked the device information and ##DATA#, the username showing is a different person's name. i tried to reset the ##DATA# info and it erased the username, but when i did the profile update, the same incorrect name is showing up again as the username.
shouldnt it be myname@sprintpcs.com? i dont want to call sprint because they were no help these past 3 weeks. dont want to manually change the info because i dont know the password im supposed to put in the ##data# screen. im thinking of just letting sleeping dogs lie and run with the current information since my data is now working with the incorrect username. what do you guys think? |
