from sprint to vz
 

I have unlocked the phone using the multicolor bootloder.

installed a vz rom, updated .prl and it fails the *228 option 2 method as it says it cant be done to call tech support.

the esn has been repaired to a current vz phone, the meid has been wiped to all 0's, the spc code is 000000 like needed.

also set epst settings like so

the .prl is now 51099 - *228 .... option 2...... "Im sorry but we are unable to program your phone at this time" :(

when i used to flash cricket on tp, i had to use a 1x prl for my region. it took many 1x prl tries before *228 would work and download current evdo prl and pst settings for cricket. Is it possible that same technique is required for vz?

anything is possible. what do you mean by 1x?

currently i have tired the 51101m, 51099, and 51638. only two get me to vz, one takes me back to sprint, however the phone recognizes it as a 60k version which apparently vz is yet to support.

51020.prl with evdo does not work :(
51010.prl without evdo does not work :(
