Keyboard started working again...
 

Out of the blue my TP's keyboard just started working again.

I have tried everything to get it to work.. I have taken it apart.. cleaned it, etc. Nothing has helped... So, I gave up on it and accepted it as a thick Diamond with a SD Card slot. I also was having problems with the keyboard open sensor and the screen would constantly rotate back and forth on it's own.

Then today.. all of a sudden.. my keyboard starts working great. Not stutter, just simply worked.

My thoughts on this are maybe the magnetic clasp on my phone pouch borked up the keyboard sensor somehow? And today I just happened to have the phone in it in the right position to reverse the magnetism. Is that possible?

I dunno.. kinda sucks.. I just placed an order for a Alltel HTC Hero w/Android 2.1 today.. picking it up on Friday after work. And now I really don't need a new phone. Oh well.

can i buy your touch pro off of you if your not using it by any chance? my screen is not working and i need to replace it. i think your screen will work with my telus touch pro.

haha thats ok, i don't need the keyboard, just the screen?. you willing to sell it, or hang on to it just in case?
