Touch Pro wont save settings!!!!!!
 

I have a touch pro that's been in my desk drawer for a little while since upgrading to the TP2, I wanted to give the phone to my daughter, I was trying to change the nam settings using ##778# I changed the MDN and reset, but it doesnt change it revert back to what was there before. Same thing is true with the PRL, change PRL, soft reset, old PRL is still on the phone. I also did a Hard Reset it erased the data on the phone no problem still cant save settings. I can't use QPST with this phone because the phone is reconized by windows but it charges though, so I said let me try to go back to stock rom becuase I know that will update radio and prl, I did that through the SD card, it said it completed successfully and I reset it and the old ROM still loads. It didn't save stock rom, like i never did it.

Running Rootlinux RootRom if that helps.

try flashing from the actuall stock rom, not a dumped version.

you can download the original from htc.com

see if that makes a difference.

its the rom, some roms wont allow EPST settings to be saved for some reason. try another rom
