Need Help, MY SCREEN STAYS IN LANDSCAPE MODE!!!!
 

My screen is stuck in landscape mode, and it will not go to the today screen. It just shows 6 different icons for different programs. This is the original software. No tweaks or upgrades have been installed. It is Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. CE OS 5.2.19965 (BUILD 19965.1.2.3). Has anyone had this problem, or know how to solve it? I'm thinking it may be a hardware issue, but I was wondering if I try and reload the software, maybe it would go away. By the way, anyone know where I can find this software, I did a search, but was not able to find it. Help would be really appreciated.

i had that problem, and all i did was turn the screen off and back on a couple times and it fixed it

Well if you dont want to try a hard reset you can give this cab a shot.....

To "reload the software", you can do a hard reset (hold power, vol. down, center button, reset--all at the same time--, then follow instructions on the screen). It will restore your phone to factory settings and will erase everything you have on it, so make sure you've backed up the important stuff.

You can also look for the updated ROM on the HTC site

that's an old build of WM6.1 this is the one that resulted in so many bad user reviews of the TP the newest build of 6.1 available for the TP is 21051 I think(rom version 2.01) this rom solved most of the issues that caused so many replacements but it doesn't include the new internet explorer found on the stock TP2 rom.l
