or just do a search in this forum for best rom. there are alot of threads asking this and alot of opinions in them as to which rom is best for who.

There is no "best rom". There's only the rom that's best for you. It all depends on what you want/need in a rom and even then it still comes down to your preference. Try them out and see for yourself.

My personal opinion is one that is FINISHED.
While I love trying the latest and greatest rom someone puts out, its bound to have more flaws than its predecessor. Too many simply AWESOME roms are made even more awesome, but then something major is broken: be it the keyboard layout, MMS support, notification, battery use, camera, the list goes on.

I find myself going back to Winmo 6.1 stock just because it WORKS somewhat reliably.

Ski,energy, root... all are amazing and I've used each extensively (probably root) but I've sworn off them because its too difficult to keep up with the changes then having to read back 20 or so pages to see if the camera was fixed, only to find out there is a problem and notifications do not work.

Yikes, sorry if that sounded like a rant. Again, ALL those roms are amazing, but they are still work in progress.

Consider your phones mission. Do you use it for personal use and all the features it provides primarily for yourself? I use my phone business and while I love having the bells and whistles, I need them to work so if that means having a slightly tuned down version, I'd rather go with that.

Something to ponder...
