Sprint stock rom with sense 2.5
 

Looking for a way or a ROM that is sprint stock with sense 2.1 or 2.5
or is there a way to install it on sprints stock ROM? (I always have problems with MMS or email Etc.. on custom ROMS)

No such thing. Best I can advise....there are several stripped 6.5 ROMs, a couple with Sprint base....I mean, base OS with NOTHING installed. You might try there. Several on the few few pages of this very forum. Sprint hasnt (and wont) release 6.5 for the TP.

Who says you need wm6.5... I personally use 6.5.x for my roms with Sense 2.5.2012 but there are wm6.1 packages in the Sense packages I downloaded at xda.
The two packages that specifically are different and needed for Sense to work on 6.1 is

HTCFramework_1_1_19183131_00
HTCScroll_1_0_1914_2726

Both are also in the 6.5 and 6.5.x packages but just different version numbers...


Im trying to cook one now based on the last official sprint release.


Here it is I just made this with OSkitchen.. First time I used it. I usually use Ervius Visual Kitchen but I didnt have the sprint stock rom as a sys in there but the OSkitchen sets up by extracting a stock rom. So I just added what I had for Sense 2.5.2012.
I did it really quick might not work.. Might have to take out some stuff from the sprint rom...Especially the older Manila version though I didnt see anything from a quick look at the system and oem packages in the kitchen..

Im not responsible for any reason you royally messing up your phone. Flash this rom at your own risk.

Also this rom is not tested at all. Please let me know if it works/looks good. If it seems fine Ill take the time and load it up on my phone to fine tune it and Ill release it in its own thread. Ive made many a roms for myself but never shared them.
I looked through the kitchen folders a little more and Im not sure if it completely decompiled the sprint rom. Though everything went through with no errors I dont see any manila files other than the ones I added. I know that the stock rom has an older manila version. So either Im missing them in the folders or stuff is missing. Not sure what else might have been left out or if the user customizations for sprint will work properly.

Awesome. I've been wishing for this type of ROM for the TP. I'm currently using the Blackout ROM on my TP2, which is a 6.1 ROM with Sense 2.5, and it is certainly the best ROM I've ever used. Fast and good looking.

I'll be anxiously awaiting this ROM...

Sorry for the delay I was having some problems uploading it... I dont have internet at my house so I use my touch pro or my girls mytouch to tether. Well my phone kept dying this morning when I was trying to upload it so it never would complete.

My girl's up so Im using her phone which holds a charge better when tethering....Should be up very soon Ill update this post when its done but my first post will have the download link in it.

If you want to keep your Sprint stock Rom and run Sense 2.1 there is a cab download at XDA-Developers that I uae and it works very well. Just install it over your existing touchflo 3d and it should work. Here is the link. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=605252

I tried the ROM. When I tried to update location, the sense would just go back to the home screen.

mrfett79, i know you mention that it works well but have you had any problems at all with the sense 2.1 cab from xda?
