just as the title says I can't get my gps to work on google maps. I have it set as the installation instructions say, but it won't find any satellites.. gps is enabled on my phone and google maps. anything I can do? im using an alltel touch pro (verizon now)

In Google Maps, do you have GPS to be managed by Windows?

I had the exact same problem ... until yesterday when I ran across a post recommending to change my radio rom. I flashed the following radio, and it worked immediately.

1.03.09V

That's the Verizon rom found in the 'radio rom' sticky. You can find a FAQ about upgrading your radio rom in that thread.

Hope that fixes you up as it did for me. I was pulling my hair out for days and through many rom flashes until I figured that out. Good luck.

should I use the alltel or verizon one? its an alltel phone, but since they merged its verizon service.

Use the Verizon 1.03.09V. I'm also on an Altell TP after the Verizon merger and it's exactly what I had to use to fix the same GPS problem you are having.
