Google Nav and Sprint Nav GPS

Hi, does anyone know if google nav will be available for windows mobile phones? I used the sprint nav to drive around Portland, OR and the lag was horrble, I downloaded the telenav which the interface was a bit nicer but still lag was till there and then after a week it was telling me that my "trial" was over. I tried Google Maps which does not have the 3d map and spoken directions, HOWEVER, its dead on accurate. So that leads me to think that that the HTC Touch Pro has software issues for "GPS" and not hardware. I could be wrong.

Does anyone know if there is a Google nav for spring with turn by turn spoken directions or a lag free turn sprint nav or a non trial telenav? Thanks

I never had lag w/ the TP or the Diamond, using the default Sprint Nav, the "secret" Sprint Telenav app, or Google Maps.

It could be the ROM you are using.

EDIT: Also, in the TeleNav apps (sprint or standard) you can record a location. This always seemed to help me get quicker locks.

Edit of the edit: Also, are you using Quick GPS to pull updated info?

Yes, I have Quick GPS enabled, will try a different ROM later on the week and see if it helps, however I have been using NRG roms for some time now and they all have that issue.

I used to have a lag using iGo8 but I did a reg edit to change the GPS polling interval and that seemed to help a lot.

HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\GPS Intermediate Driver\Drivers\GPSOneDevice\PollInterval

I changed from 1000 to 250 and now I have no lag.

I never had any problems w/ NRG's stuff when it came to GPS, as long as I did what I posted in the following thread: Link
