Soft reset not working, task manager issue, MSN crashes and wont reconnect 'til reset
 

I seem to have a couple issues, I think they may be related.
For some reason my soft reset button isn't working. If I do a hard reset and then reload the programs it works for a while but then I get the same issue again. I know I can install this cab http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=72880 or I can pull the battery how ever both are clumsy (specially since i have a hard case to protect my phone and it's a royal pain to remove).

Also I have an oddity with the task manager after running MSN for a while, I end up with a pic like the attachment

all the "x" are missing from the right hand of the drop down, a soft reset fixes this (that is a pain to do)

And finally after a few hours MSN will decide i have no internet connection and won't connect even though I have other programs connected.

I have a stock Bell Canada rom using the TouchFlo3D interface.

I have a sneaking suspicion the 3 problems are related.
