Sprint HTC Touch Pro Flash Issue
 

Hey everyone. I flashed my HTC Touch Pro using a Metro PCS 068 EVDO PRL. I don't have an account with Metro PCS. I have a couple problems.

1) Pretty much every Metro PCS store doesnt know how to flash the phone because "it doesn't recognize" and when I tell them ##DIAG# they tell me its not PROTOCOL. They say they dont have the drivers, blah blah blah (even though i have them on my flash drive).

2.) Second problem, so its flashed, but if i call Metro PCS Customer Service, they tell me I have to take it to a Metro PCS Store to get it fixed. I'm getting pretty frusterated i'm getting the run around here...

Even if I go back to the Sprint PRL, Metro PCS is retarded and can't flash the phone because they cant find the drivers...

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

Anyone? I just loaded the HSPL and loaded Win Mo 6.5 Mighty ROM. I called Metro PCS and they wont even create an account because my phone isnt a Metro PCS Phone..

Resident, I had almost the same issue. I had to flash it back to the stock sprint rom for their software to recognize the phone so they can have it activated on their system. Once I did that their software recognized the phone, they flashed, and all was well. I'm not too sure if thats gonna help, but it sounds like the same thing i went through. Good luck

You need to have a dealer or Metro do a Metro flash for you. Then the ESN will be in the system.
