CDMA data settings before flashing
 

I need some clarification on CDMA data settings before flashing my wife's phone. She is on the TBayTel Mobility network. I was unable to find anything in the forums on if the data settings automatically update or if I need to manually enter anything. I've only seen one other person on the TBayTel network posting here.

Are there any data settings on the phone that I need to write down before flashing a new ROM? I apologize for the question but I come from the GSM android world (I have an HTC Magic on Rogers) where I just enter the correct APN settings after flashing.

No, I myself use the Tbaytel network, it is not required that you enter in any data connections settings but your username/password under the #777 default connection. The only thing that might effect this is when your flashing a rom that was built or customized for a diffrent provider. In this case (like with NFSF's ROM) you would be required to install the provisioning cab relative to your provider. In our case the one that best matches Tbaytel would either be Bell or Telus. I myself prefer to use Bell's settings due to the fact Tbaytel's lines are Re-sold bell lines.

With Tbaytel its your 10 digit phone number
