Roaming help
 

I have a Sprint Touch Pro registered on Vzw, running Roots new XXXDark rom. For some reason the phone says im roaming..i dont get it because with every other phone ive ever had ive never been in roaming territory. Also it seems i cant set up a data connection, but i have no idea why not. i dial #777 and it tells me it cant process my request or something to that effect. I flashed to the newest Vzw radio in the CDMA forum to no avail...

Any help on the roaming issue? the data one? is the data one causing the roaming one? it seems if im in my home wifi area then the roaming goes away..not sure of that but it might be happening.

i insalled the vzw carrier cab, entered this into the data connection settings:

username: my phone # @vzw3g.com
pass: vzw

still nothing. says my pcs vision login is incorrect...should it even be saying anything about PCS? that has to do with sprint right?

anybody? i really need some help getting data set up..is it on vzw's end or something? If i call them will they even be able to help me since i have a sprint TP? I bought it from Lunacie and he says it was legally registered on VZW so its not a hacked thing.

I would start by flashing a VZW SHIPPED ROM. Allow customization to run. Then your device will have all the needed EPST setting and PRL's. All the issues that you are having is due to it having Sprint carrier setting hanging in PST. I'm 90% sure that flashing a shipped exe rom will solve it.

Thank you! i actually flashed a stock Sprint rom before flashing Root thinking since it was a sprint TP...didnt think about that! thanks very much :)

OK so im on the VZW stock rom, i go to data settings and enter

i then go back and try to turn on data connection and it says something about ppp connection failed. i call #777 and it says my feature update can not be completed.

When i got the phone i upgraded to the $30 data plan. that was like 3 or 4 days ago, is it not set up yet or what?!

EDIT:
just logged on to my parents VZW account (the account my phone is on)...the bill is past due. im willing to bet THAT is my problem eh? ](*,):angry7:](*,):bs:
