Today and Start menu backgrounds not changing
 

I recently got a replacement Touch Pro. Once in my hands I tweaked it as needed, changing some backgrounds and so forth. Nothing major. I'm still running the rom that came with the phone. Today I wanted to change the wallpaper on the Today screen. I know that has to be changed and the backgroun for the Start menu if you want to keep them in sync. I went to my photos via file explorer, picked a photo, chose to set it as my Today background, and exited. No dice. I then went to Settings/Personal/Today Screen and chose to browse for a photo to set as my background. No dice there either. I tried this over and over again, doing a soft reset about 6 times and got nothing. I never had this problem before. I called Sprint and they suggested I try updating the software on it. I checked the Sprint website and I already have the latest rom on there. Anyone have any suggestions before I head to the Sprint store yet again?

Try using file explorer to move your desired background image to the phones image directory; not your SD card. Then navigate through your phones settings to change the background and apply the one in the phones image directory. If this fails try resizing the images to 320 x 240. If your still having issue's, hard-reset and try again. Also make sure your image is in a readable format the phone understand, ex: jpg, png, bmp etc:
