trouble with stock Alltel Rom

I have a stock Alltel (as i seem to have trouble finding a good ROM that has everything i want in it)

And i've never been able to send pictures/videoss very well. only send about 1/3 of the time, but i get no error.

Recently i've had issues with calls. my phone will not ring. at all. but those who call say it will ring for a full 25 seconds then go to voicemail..

I also get an issue with the phone i guess "locking up" the ability to open/view texts/e-mail (can't even go to that menu to view them)

I've always had these issues. But i decided to finally ask. WHY?

Is my phone broke?

Could anyone suggest a ROM i could use as a replacement if it is my ROM? I send texts very often. pictures as well for my job. sometimes (but extremely rarely) videos, i also landscape my phone very very often, and use messenger. I was looking at rootROM but last flash it bricked my phone..

P.S: i like WM6.5 (or atleast it's interface as i don't know what teh differences are) but the above are the basic required programs

Re: trouble with stock Alltel Rom

I think the texting problem and picture problem is a Alltel problem and not a touch pro problem. I would guess that 1 out of 20 text messages I send to my GF who is on a different carrier end up going real late or never going at all.

The picture messaging is even worse... there are times when we go 3 to 4 days without them working.

She has no problems with anyone else she knows.. only me and my Alltel phone. I have no problems with my Alltel friends either.. just people on other carriers.

I am running stock Alltel myself. I tried Energy ROM and my phone hard resetted itself twice, so then I switched to Mighty ROM and the same thing happened. I rely on my phone way to much for work to risk it hard resetting again and also MightyROM has Storage Card encryption removed for some reason. So anyways, I am back to stock Alltel ROM with no problems again.

MightyROM was very very nice, just couldn't live with the missing encryption and hard resetting on its own.
