Why no gaming roms?
 

I always wondered why no one specialized in a gaming rom with a bunch of freeware games and a collection of emulators built in. One of my biggest annoyances has been searching for emulators and getting them to work right on my sprint touch pro. our phones can emulate a lot of good old consoles and i just find it odd that no one has customized a rom for that purpose. of course if i'm wrong and someone has created a customized gaming/emulation rom then woot point me too it.

Well for one you really wouldn't want to tie up the ROM just to have Emulators...Emulation and game roms really should be done with a storage card not in ROM...

Roms should be limited (IMO) to just what you need to operate the device. Only bare minimums for phone operation in the roms everything else goes into the storage card.

This way you don't run into any memory issues at all...
The TP is really scarce on RAM to start with even more if you have a Verizon TP...

And I personally find the screen too small and the controls too sluggish to effectively play games anyway...
