So I waterlogged my tp1. Had to give my dog some water, what can I say it slipped out of my pocket. So I get a claim going for them to replace my phone with comparable device, no option for touch pro 2 right off the bat.

So today I get my replacement in the mail..... and it's diamond ? wtf:scratch:

So I call about it and they tell me the only comparable model left is the Diamond? Once again wtf:angry7:

Any idea's or anyone else want to vent about some crap like that?

thats bs. my g/f has the diamond and it;s great and all but i would def. call them back up and say there is nothing comparable about the 2. one has a keyboard, one doesn't. what about that is comparable? sure the rest of the hardware is the same, but no kb!

That's what I told them. She said her boss said they could refund my $96.00 and return it. What good does that do?

Now they are saying they do have a TP1 I can get..... Damn, was still going for the tp2

edit- oh now they don't have those again...... what the hell is going on over there? I would like to see their offices.

And I've had to hold for 45 minutes on 3 different calls. :protest:

well they sent me the right phone one day later still pretty good services i guess. got a verizon instead of my original alltel one though.

was looking forward to a tp2 for all the BS oh well.

Umm... the Verizon TP1 has 192MB of RAM instead of the Alltel's 288MB. That isn't really comparable either. A lot of people have trouble flashing custom ROM's because VZW gimped their version. I have been considering starting this process with my Alltel TP1 in hopes of getting a TP2. It has started freezing up and sometimes gets extremely hot to the point where I feel I have to turn it off. Maybe I'll give it a try...

yeah, i htink if u had an alltel one u should get same one back as vzn isnt comparable in features. they are getting so weird!
