Device (suddenly) always starts up in bootloader...please read...
 

So, once again, I´m overseas and having problems with my device. All was well until I went to plug in my device into to a friend´s laptop to transfer data. I plugged in the device and it didn´t register with the laptop nor did the light glow to signify it was connected/charging. I unplugged the device and restarted and now it´s always starting up on bootloader "serial" and there seems to be no way out of this for I have tried everything I know to do. For some reason, the only way to get the phone to start-up normally is to have it connected to the wall charger and power on, then it will work. I need this device working properly, any ideas, please advise, TIA!

Backup your files while on AC power and perform hardreset. Disconnect AC power and check to see if it boots on battery power.

I've tried that too. Flashed numerous old ROMs/loaded Sprite backups, flashed back to stock via SD and still no dice.

Wait does it work before restoring sprite backups?
