Wifi Not Connecting To Router?
 

Hi.. I Been Trying To Connect My Phone To The Router and Theirs No Help. I Tried Connecting To My Locked Settings On My Router. It Wouldn't Connect I Unplugged My Router and Reconnected tried to connect again with my phone but no success. Then I Went On My Computer To Check If Its My Router. I Could Connect Successfully. Later Then I Went Into My Routers Settings and changed everything to open network and tryed to connect. no success help anyone? D:

Nope It Doesnt Work. I Already Tried And Got The Error To Contact Provider And Etc..

Is your wifi router broadcasting or hidden?

open wifi connection on device and select all avail in bottom drop down box and see if you can find your broadcast. if you get your password in and it is still not connecting, it may be key. by defalult it is set to 1 but your router can be broadcasting in 2,3 or 4.

i am still having problems with connecting to my router as well. haven't figured it out. i am now on my second touch pro and still no wifi at home..... i have connected to a bunch of other networks... even the neighbors... but it will not connect to mine.

nada mine is a wpa2 aes and the choice is greyed out. im using a netgear wgr614 v7

only other thing i can think of is 802.11/b,g routers and 802.11/n and the touch pro can't do n. what router is yours.

guess that was stupid question if you find neighbors wifi. try resetting your router up again and see if that works. might have been something during setup that you didn't do before you got your device.

i can connect up to my phone perfectly using my laptop to router fine on wifi. ima just flash to stock rom and flash it back to mighty and see if it works

my router is a di 614+...(b/g) i am going to run the set up again and see if that works. i am going to leave it open (no encryption.)

i finally got it to work.. this is what i did.. the hard way.. i backed up all my files and i flashed my rom back to stock sprint. and then flashed back to my custom rom.. and it works again.. hope this helps :)

The reason my WiFi has trouble is a very weak signal, so try moving closer to the router.

The only other thought that I have is upgrading the TP's radio.

i can put my phone right up next to the router and it will not work. i have to think that it is the router.

i am looking to purchase a n router that i can use for my xbox. hope that i can get my phone to connect to it with b/g and the xbox with n.

would love to know if anyone has something like this currently set up and what router they are using.
