Help with internet sharing
 

Recently I got an exchange touch pro from Sprint, which uses the official Sprint ROM. I was surprised to find that the battery life under Sprint ROM is much much longer than that under custom ROM.

Now, I decide to give up playing with any ROM, just stay with Sprint ROM. However, I still need the function of internet sharing, i.e., connect my laptop to internet through my touch pro using USB cable.

Anyone can tell me a link for the application implementing this internet sharing? Also, if you can also give link to wifi router, that would be great.

Serious??? I found out that having a custom ROM my battery life last longer than the stock ROM... Stock ROM would last between 4 to 5 hrs before I need to charge again.

Did you turn off Bluetooth?? I'm running stock rom again (since I thought I was going to get my phone serviced) and if I run BT I notice the battery goes alot faster. Though with BT off the battery life is rather exceptional (though i think I remember custom rom still being a little better but not a huge gap)

Nope I don't run BT. I just can't have sumthing in my ear for a long period of time. Have you done any battery edits or have you install any battery hacks cab?
