Connectivity without a cell plan

I have a Touch Pro Herman from one of my old cell plans but due to the Verizon switch-over I have a new phone. I was wondering if there is any way to get wireless connectivity without a cell plan. Is there any modification I can make for this to happen.

Yes, Touch Pro has WiFi function.
