Just want to make sure i'm doing this right.

I've been flashing ROM's since I got my Mogul and i've been having issues since i got my TP.

I just want to make sure I'm doing this right.

My TP is unlock.

Here's what i do.

1. Flash the ROM of choice.
2. Let the ROM completely install and start up.
3. Pull the battery and let phone restart.
4. Pull battery again and perform a hard reset (Hold Vol and enter button while turning on device)
5. Should be ok?

does this sound right?

I always put a clear storage in there somewhere, but it seems right to me.

Thanks for the reply.

It's the strangest thing...i had a lot of luck with my Mogul. But ever since i started flashing my TP, i've had issues. Most recently, the dialer is all jacked up and won't come up. May just go back to stock and leave it alone till i can get a Hero.

i would just be more concerned with doing "flash dance" when going between custom roms. i've flashed probly 500 times & never pull any battery & rarely do a hard reset after flashing. to each their own tho =]

I did that before the last flash. went back to stock, hard reset, flashed custom ROM, hard reset. Still crazy issues. I'm trying one more ROM for this week before i go back to stock.
