So one of my friends sold me his htc touch pro and i really like it but i dont know how to make it look all cool looking like alot of of the ones ive seen. it would be nice to have a different clock or maybe some new themes that look cool. i barely know how to use the phone so if someone could help me i would appreicate it greatly!!!..i dont have a cord to hook up to my laptop also so i guess i have to download everything strait to my phone??correct??please help me im clueless

You won't get far without a USB cord.
Go pick one up for a buck or two.
Moto USB cords will work as well and you can find them everywhere.

I would suggest getting used to the device before unlocking and modding it.

to start off... learn how to use your phone! haha, but no really...
you can learn a lot here by searching and reading ;-)

you can always get a cable, standard usb to mini usb
you can also transfer files via bluetooth

You need to learn the basics first and get comfortable with your phone. Once you do that, thats when you can look further into customizing, flashing, etc. Since you are fairly new at it, go ahead and give the stock a few days and play around with it.

is it a big problem that i have a mac????and not windows for doin stuff with this phone???thanks for all the help everyone

im not sure if it would matter if you have a mac, but wouldnt think so because that would lower the customers for microsoft because lots of people have macs.
