TP connection and battery issues
 

Ok so I'm having some issues here just wanting to see if anyone had some ideas. I've had my TP for about 3 months now and it has always been stuck on 1X, never have EVDO, I'm with Telus, my connection is usually crap, my battery life is horrible with stock rom or any other rom lasting less than half a day. I'm actually on my 2nd TP that I had sent in for me and its still doing the same thing, I've had telus tech services look at it and ive updated the roaming on it and everything...I've had it side by side with a friends TP and TP2 and they both get great connectivity but mine...not so much. I'm quite stumped...

they may have a current prl for the network and area. i know some networks have *228 and sprint has "update prl" in settings. i would check your prl (start, settings, system, device info) and see if your prl is the same as your friends on same network. if it is, check your radio (same location).
