Asurion claim, flash to stock?
 
I know the advice for taking a phone to sprint is to flash back to stock, would you guys suggest the same for sending in an asurion replacement?

no. its not required. assurion doesnt care if your paying them a deductible. i personally dont want anyone knowing anything about who im texting or talking to though, so before i sent my tp in i bricked it on purpose. i hardreset and pulled the battery during initial boot.

+1, I did it as a precaution myself, my business is no ones but my own.

do they not re-furb the units people send back ?
I'd feel a bit mean bricking it on purpose, having said that, $100 deductible is a bit steep.
