so has anyone else noticed that the onscreen kb is a little over sensitive? is this a setting or a bug?

ok i am leaning towards a setting issue for me. i think the repeat rate is set to high for my liking but i am not seeing where i can change it.

I have noticed the keypad part is worst when your in a phone call as opposed to making a phone call, when you call say your cable company and it prompts you to enter your account number, well that is pretty much impossible lol

lol i haven't tried on a call yet, only while sending a text. my g/f is having a heard time reading it lol.

i've looked through all the settings and i'm trying to find some more insight into it but i'm not seeing much. i will try to find another keyboard tonight when i have some time to sit and research this more. i'm hoping a new keyboard will give some more options on the repeat rate.

i can't seem to add my yahoo mail to the email list. i'm only given exchange and gmail as options.

now i am having to leave my phone on the charger as much as possible since i can't tell how much battery i have, but i have been running this since lastnight and still loving it. i'm shooting for 24+ hours on this without issue, which as this point is going better than i had hoped for lol.

yahoo doesn't do pop unless you get the upgraded yahoo plus service

ya i was hoping i would be able to add it like i can in winmo. could have sworn i was able to on one of the older version but i can't remember now. i'm so lost with the 500 roms and 20 version of android i've thrown at this phone lol.

The soft keyboard is so sensitive because the touch screen is so sensitive... The calibration helped with accuracy, but it is still extremely (overly) sensitive and sometimes processes multiple clicks when you only touched the screen once. You can see this behavior in the dev output for the touchpad.

Hey, this is nearly usable... sadly, it just makes me want to get a Hero. Or anything but WinMo. Gah, WinMo.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)

ya the more i play with it the more i see it's not a settings issue at all lol.

the hard kb still repeats really fast but it's the soft one i use most.

now with the screen this sensitive, could this lead to the possibility of a multitouch for us? i know it's not in our hardware but if it can read multi clicks on one touch, why not?

non-the-less, i still find it tolerable. the occassional tap on the back button doesn't seem to get to me too much.
