Just wondering if this problem is related with xdandroid installation or just a coincidence and phone Bluetooth hardware just died. Anyone had similar problem?

I haven't heard of anyone else having any sort of problem of that nature, so I'd guess it's coincidental. But that's not a very satisfying answer. Sounds like a very strange bug -- I'd probably try a hard reset in WinMo before writing it off entirely, but that is quite a hassle.

Seems like I got about as much battery life as previous builds... but I have to question that, because at all points it was significantly cooler. I think it's probably improved, and I just miscalculated how long it went before dying tonight.

I made it about 6 and a half tonight. Usually made it about 5 on previous builds i believe. And for the most part its running cooler. Often I pick it up and its cold. Other times still toasty. I should run a logcat sometime and see what's going on. Is there any way to record the logcat over a couple hours?

And I agree on the bt. It is odd that that's basically what it does in android, but I would def. Hard-reset/flash a new rom before I would start thinking hardware problem. I haven't heard of a single person with hardware problems because of android (outside of android)

I'd like to get the RAPH 500 keypad in better order - using terminal's a big pain right now. I noticed in the comments that the layout can be changed in 'userland' - where would that be, or can i help get a new layout into the kernel somehow?

i just can't seem to be able to get this thing loaded. I tried 4 different microSD cards, tried formatting them with the HP program and the SD formatting program on the xda site and tried changing the startup file as the xda site lists. i don't even know what ubuntu is so i don't even know where to start with that. i don't know what the problem is but there's got to be a way to make this work since so many other people are doing it. any other ideas?
thanks for the help

You have a RAPH800? Check under your battery. From your profile it looks like you do/should....

If that's the case, start with the AIO from this thread. Just extract it to your cleanly (FAT32) formatted SD card. Run haret.exe from WinMo... should work!

If it doesn't, then perhaps you should try the CAB install?

Just saw you already double-posted this over on XDA. Awesome.

Possible to use the raph500 startup config from the 2.1 release on the first page with the 2.2 release on XDA? I have downloaded the 2.2AOSP.10.7.10.BETA.V2, but it does not include a raph500 startup.txt......

Just curious!

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!

THANKS everyone and hooray for the DIYer.
Acquired a Sprint Touch Pro (Raph800 if i'm correct.)
clean format FAT32 of SD card. using AIO from 6.12.10 boots fine into Android, havent played with it too much.

having a tough time sorting through the 300+ pages of this thread so ill cut to the meat here.
Can I use the Raph800 with Android on Verizon without Data subscription?
if so, do I change/unlock the phone through WM in order to get VZW network functionality, or can this be done all within Android?
I'm guessing I need to get the phone unlocked and functioning in WM with VZW before gaining that functionality in Android.
are there any other Stock updates that should be done prior to Unlocking?
Anyone want to hold my hand here or at least point me to applicable posts/threads?
TIA and I will guinea pig as necessary.

Hrm... If the phone isn't working in WinMo, it won't work in Android. A data plan isn't required, Makkonen has a RAPH500 that isn't active in any way and runs Android on it. If you need data connectivity, you'll have to use wifi. Other than that, no reason you can't run Android.
