Well you talked me into it :D I just pulled the latest kernal and rootfs and I'll update as I get into it :) I must say the boot time already seems faster.
Update: Cell tower location is working! :) couldn't be happier about that. I wonder if it will let me try navigation with that? WOW navigation launched I'm not in my car so I don't know how it would react if I actually did try to drive somewhere though. Bluetooth paired but no sound. that's pretty much it. seems really smooth so far.

Jumping around erratically like usual. It doesn't seem too different from before. I take it back, It doesn't seem to power collapse and seems to have dropped off a cliff.

I have a RAHP800 and used to see the Android boot animation with the particle X. After installing latest(Mar 10) zImage, initrd, rootfs, I no longer see that anymore. And I cannot use Live Wallpaper. Any suggestion?

I had high hopes for this latest release, but i was let down again. no where near as good as the real Android out there. :(

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=641021 when copying all the files over, it runs dog slow for me when i use the new system.sqsh. it lets me do stuff for a couple of seconds, freezes and repeats until i get tired of it and reset. when i don't use system.sqsh, all is fine but i miss out on most of the new stuff. :-( the theme looks pretty cool. anyone else have their arch lock picture not stretch all the way? maybe i need to re-download.

So this is where we roll back and wait for makk's guidance :)

Sounds like Hardware 3d is busted. Haven't heard anyone mention it, so I don't know if it's a known problem with the latest kernel or not.

I'm not sure what you mean. The battery status issue is a kernel-level problem, so nothing in logcat, or anywhere in Android, for that matter, will tell what the problem is.

Though it's pretty neat to know there's a nice interface to logcat there.

Your post + your handle make me confused. I can't tell if you're trolling or not, but if you're trying to be mean -- it's not working. 'Cuz I feel about the same. There's a fundamental lugubriousness to the Android interface on the Touch Pro that really bugs me.
