You could have made this post over in my thread. I'll be more then happy to do what I can to get them working.

I just need some info.

What ROM,VGA or WVGA,GSM or CDMA, 2.5 port version.


By the looks of it you are using an Energy ROM. He does things to his ROMs that just don't fly with a lot of things. I had to do a hard reset last night myself so maybe I'll go and try his latest build and see what's going on.


Oh and this is why I said in my thread to do a back up. You will most likely have to do a hard reset to reload the rom if you didn't back up.

a hard reset will fix you up and i can say the icons work very well but not with energy rom (not when i tried),rstg cooks them in his 2.5 rom,but with big wil on the case the issue will be fixed soon :)

Ok so it is a VGA screen so sizing shouldn't be an issue. It is most likely that Energy changed some file structure on the manila files which causes the issue. All the people that have reported issues has been because of his ROMs. I should know in a bit it just got done downloading.

Alright I have ripped the files from the phone and have found what he has done to cause the issue. He has changed out some file structure in order to minimize memory usage. There are typically 3 files per tab but one is not really used. He has removed the file completely. Doing this he had to changed the way the files tie together.

I will have a working cab for both my icons and my clock later tonight

After looking over his file structure I have found several things that break the clock,tab icons, and the new notificationcons I have made. First he is not CFC compressing his files down. My icon set is CFC compressed so that was breaking the files and what was most likely turning it white. Second he has removed a few files and I'm guessing rebuilt the dependencies for the files he left. There are normally 3 files for each tab then 1 more for the large screen icon so 4 files total for each tab. Out of the three files for the actual tab the people who did the 2.5 port left the use of 1 out, the non-highlighted version. So what he has done is removed them thus breaking my icon set.

I can say it looks like I have a working set for everything I have put out.

Of course all this is guessing on my part since I don't full understand how it all works. I just know how to change out the pictures for the ones I want. With the programs I'm using this is what it seems is going on.

Over the night I should have all my threads updated to include Energy specific cabs.
